Today has been a sad day for myself and my family. Our beautiful little Angel, has passed away in her sleep on my shoulder. We did all we could for her, and the vet only gave her a few days to live, but she made it 2 more weeks. She was 2 years and 5 months young, so she had a long llife for a Syrian hamster. Knowing all I know about them, this adds fuel to the fire, that it never ever, gets easier to say goodbye to something as wonderful as she was and will always be to us. It is heartbreaking, and that is an understatement. She was a part of our family, and now another piece of us has been taken away from us. We have tried in the past with our other little family members that we lost, but fail to prepare for the loss of a little thing that is so much loved. In this day and age, very little is done for the small animals, and I do object strongly, to them being known as Rodents. It is really upsetting. The joy and love she gave to us, I can only hope, she got the same from us, as we tried.
There are many animals out there, that need to be rescued, I will continue to do so, but we are limited to the number of animals we are allowed to keep on our property. Life sucks, and so does the Government and all of its pocket filling allies. I hope they rot in hell.
